Summary:
The Riding Program in the Department of Athletics Fitness and Recreation at Skidmore College invites applications for a TEMPORARY full time barn assistant to fill in while the Stable Manager/Riding Assistant is on to begin October 20 2025 and run through January 31 2026.
Position includes all aspects of horse care--turn outs longeing grooming hand walking first aid etc.
Applicant must be well versed and practiced in all aspects of horse care and willing to learn and adhere to our practices. Applicant should be friendly articulate and hard working.
Hours are Mondays through Fridays 35 - 40 hours per week (exact schedule TBD).
Pay rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
