The Tactical Communications and Maintenance Applications (TCMA) team based in Huntsville Alabama has new opportunities for individuals who want to grow their technical expertise on complex programs and be a part of an innovative and fast-paced avionics business area. Teams are composed of cross-functional engineers working in an AGILE environment (approximately 6-10 people) focused on the design and development of software-only products. Our team focuses on creating avionics solutions for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft including the integration of various radios and surveillance equipment for domestic and international military customers.
What You Will Do:
- Design implement and evaluate software in C Python within the Agile framework
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning design development of military technology
- Work closely with cross-functional research teams to evaluate the effectiveness of early software prototypes
- Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor
- Implement requirements detailed design implementing software integration and verification in accordance with software development processes.
- Accomplish tasks based on program schedule collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions
- Enjoy learning new technologies be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a Bachelors degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: We Prefer:
- Familiarity with Agile software development cycle
- Familiarity with design and development using languages such as C C Java Ada and Python.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
