The Tactical Communications and Maintenance Applications (TCMA) team based in Huntsville Alabama has new opportunities for individuals who want to grow their technical expertise on complex programs and be a part of an innovative and fast-paced avionics business area. Teams are composed of cross-functional engineers working in an AGILE environment (approximately 6-10 people) focused on the design and development of software-only products. Our team focuses on creating avionics solutions for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft including the integration of various radios and surveillance equipment for domestic and international military customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Design implement and evaluate software in C Python within the Agile framework
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning design development of military technology
  • Work closely with cross-functional research teams to evaluate the effectiveness of early software prototypes
  • Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor
  • Implement requirements detailed design implementing software integration and verification in accordance with software development processes.
  • Accomplish tasks based on program schedule collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions
  • Enjoy learning new technologies be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment.
