Required:High School diploma GED Vo-Tech or Trade School Certification; AND:
9 months automotive repair experience.
Certifications or Licenses:
Valid Oklahoma Drivers License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date
Required Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Knowledge of appropriate tools and equipment to repair automobiles
- Advanced knowledge of repairing automobiles and light equipment
- Knowledge of the proper tools and equipment used to repair automobiles and light equipment
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Read and understand complex written materials such as technical manuals or schematics
Physical Working Conditions:
Regularly stands lifts bends stoops lifts above to carry 30 lbs. or to heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
Environmental Working Conditions:
Regular exposure to a variety of weather and environmental conditions extreme temperature changes odors and loud noises.
