Associate Dentist Stafford
We are seeking a caring and committed Associate Dentist to join our Stafford team. We already have a waiting list of patients from local care homes and supported living facilities who require access to high-quality dental treatment.
This is a clinic-based role where patients are transported to our surgery as part of our domiciliary-focused service. It offers a highly rewarding opportunity for a dentist who values accessibility in dentistry and wants to improve oral health outcomes for elderly and vulnerable patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and preventative dental care to patients brought to the clinic from care homes and supported living settings
- Carry out examinations diagnoses and treatment planning with sensitivity to patients medical and personal needs
- Work collaboratively with carers families and care home staff to ensure comfort and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate detailed clinical records in line with safeguarding infection control and health and safety standards
- Support the practice in developing its domiciliary and accessibility-focused dental care services
Requirements:
- GDC registration and right to work in the UK
- Current professional indemnity cover
- Experience with elderly or medically compromised patients is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate professional and patient-centred approach
