Job Purpose

Responsibilities

  • Manage client and matter files under supervision ensuring full compliance

  • Provide expert legal advice to a range of clients including negotiation and drafting of documentation

  • Handle the various stages of legal proceedings effectively efficiently and in a timely manner protecting client interests

  • Meet agreed KPIs while demonstrating a commercial approach to financial management

  • Support business development initiatives helping to generate new work from existing clients and professional contacts

  • Commit to continued professional development in the relevant specialist sector

Skills and Experience

  • Positive approach to teamwork and strong relationship-building skills

  • Ability to adapt to a broad range of circumstances and remain calm under pressure

  • Flexibility ambition and a strong desire to learn and expand knowledge

  • Capability to act independently to a high level while collaborating with senior partners and colleagues on complex matters

  • Experience building relationships with clients and professionals with a proactive approach to marketing and business development

  • Strong communication skills able to explain legal matters clearly to clients

  • Discretion and ability to respect client confidentiality

  • Structured approach to tasks ensuring high-quality delivery

  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills

  • Experience working in a team and developing effective relationships with colleagues
