We are working with a highly regarded advisory firm looking to appoint an experienced Tax & Accounts Manager to join their well-established private client division. This is a strategic hire for a growing team known for its work with high-net-worth individuals family-owned enterprises and international structures.
About the Role:
This role offers a blend of tax compliance advisory and trust accounting responsibilities supporting a diverse client base on UK and cross-border matters. The successful individual will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in managing client relationships mentoring junior team members and contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of private clients estates trusts and family businesses.

Prepare complex trust and estate accounts as well as related tax computations and returns.

Provide support on tax planning compliance and reporting including UK and international elements.

Liaise directly with clients intermediaries and HMRC.
-
Identify tax planning opportunities and support the implementation of bespoke structuring solutions.

Oversee and review work prepared by junior staff supporting their development and technical growth.

Contribute to departmental objectives including profitability service delivery and client satisfaction.

Assist in maintaining high standards of compliance ethics and quality assurance across client work.
Candidate Profile:

ATT qualified (or near completion) with further qualifications (CTA STEP) seen as advantageous.

Proven experience in private client tax and trust accounting.

Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Strong organisational and time management skills; able to manage deadlines under pressure.

Collaborative and commercially aware with the ability to support and drive team performance.

A proactive and adaptable mindset comfortable with change and continuous improvement.
