Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale power generation projects (1 GW) including combined cycle and simple cycle plants.
- Oversee the entire EPC lifecycle including engineering procurement construction scheduling budgeting and risk management.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams (35-50 internal staff and 30-40 external partners).
- Act as the primary liaison with executives internal teams and external vendors ensuring alignment and collaboration across all phases.
- Inspire motivate and guide teams through challenging project phases.
- Navigate ambiguity and adapt to changes in project scope design or execution to deliver successful outcomes.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering project management project controls commercial development or operations within the oil & gas or power generation industry.
- Proven success managing gigawatt-scale or combined cycle projects.
- Strong leadership skills with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional communication collaboration and organizational skills.
- Technical and project controls background with an established industry network.
Qualifications Preferred:
- PMP certification (preferred).
- PE license (a plus not required).
- Proficiency with Oracle Primavera Microsoft Project and Power BI.
- Expertise in technical engineering or project controls with ability to leverage cross-functional expertise.
