Job Description

About Us:

We are a leading energy company focused on driving the future of power generation. Our teams manage some of the most complex and large-scale energy projects in the country providing innovative and reliable solutions that power communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale power generation projects (1 GW) including combined cycle and simple cycle plants.
  • Oversee the entire EPC lifecycle including engineering procurement construction scheduling budgeting and risk management.
  • Direct multidisciplinary teams (35-50 internal staff and 30-40 external partners).
  • Act as the primary liaison with executives internal teams and external vendors ensuring alignment and collaboration across all phases.
  • Inspire motivate and guide teams through challenging project phases.
  • Navigate ambiguity and adapt to changes in project scope design or execution to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering project management project controls commercial development or operations within the oil & gas or power generation industry.
  • Proven success managing gigawatt-scale or combined cycle projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional communication collaboration and organizational skills.
  • Technical and project controls background with an established industry network.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • PMP certification (preferred).
  • PE license (a plus not required).
  • Proficiency with Oracle Primavera Microsoft Project and Power BI.
  • Expertise in technical engineering or project controls with ability to leverage cross-functional expertise.
