Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage gigawatt-scale power generation projects including simple and combined cycle plants.
- Oversee the full Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) lifecycle ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams of project managers engineers and construction managers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (35-50 team members) and external vendors (30-40 partners).
- Serve as the primary communicator with executives internal teams and external vendors inspiring teams through project challenges.
- Adapt to changes in project scope design or execution while maintaining critical path and performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in engineering project management project controls commercial development or operations within the oil & gas or power generation industry.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Track Record: Proven success managing large complex projects (over 1 GW for East; combined cycle and gigawatt-scale projects for West).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication collaboration and motivational abilities.
- Solid technical and project controls background; strong industry network preferred.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- PMP certification preferred; PE licensure is a plus.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Oracle Primavera Microsoft Project and Power BI.
- Strong competencies in technical engineering or project controls with the ability to leverage expertise across disciplines.
