We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
Thurston CE Primary Academy is looking to recruit an appropriately experienced motivated and hardworking individual to join our dedicated supportive and highly effective team.
We are looking for a highly motivated team player with a calm and patient approach who:
has good literacy and numeracy skills
has experience and ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons and assess pupil attainment and progress
is flexible and can adapt at short notice
is willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary.
You will be supported by a skilled and enthusiastic team and will work closely with all staff across the school
At the heart of learning is a strong partnership between school and home. We strive hard to achieve this and we work with parents so that together we can provide the very best all-round education for the children.
We have recently relocated to a larger area in Norton Road in Thurston to accommodate the huge expansion which will see the school grow from being able to accommodate 210 pupils to 420. Our new school provides a modern learning environment for local children.
