As a new Medication Certified Personal Care Aide (Med Cert PCA) joining our Village you will:
- Administers medications to medically stable residents.
- Records any substantial changes in residents care and/or health (e.g. bruises
skin tears vitals weight) into the system and notifies the village Registered
team member. - Provides topical skin care treatments hearing aid glasses and denture care
under direction of Registered team member. - Assists residents with personal care hygiene dining and Activities of Daily
Living (ADL) as outlined in the Plan of Care (or Service Plan). - Records TPR (temperature pulse and respiration) on admission and or as
delegated by Clinical Lead. - Co-operates with all departments/team members to ensure a safe and
comfortable living and working environment including maintaining and
cleaning residents equipment and belongings; and nursing equipment. - Performs other duties as assigned
To be successful as our new Personal Care Aide Medication Certified (PCA Med Cert) you will:
- Have successfully completed a Medication Administration certificate or course
