You will: Design and maintain firmware for real-time systems Assess and adopt new technologies Mentor peers Test debug and integrate complex systems Collaborate on requirements architecture and deliverables. Optimizing with hardware engineers.
Required:
- 7 years embedded firmware/software development.
- Low-level drivers and hardware integration for interfaces.
- RTOS i.e. FreeRTOS ZephyrRTOS Micrium on MCUs.
- RISC architectures including RISC-V and ARM uCs and bus architectures.
- Software-hardware integration silicon and board bring-up and validation.
- Rust C C and Python.
- Cargo. CMake.
Desirable:
- PhD/MS
- Linux design patterns.
- Heterogenous (FPGA MCU) systems.
- Digital design (RTL/Verilog).
- Signal processing chains.
- Hardware accelerators.
- AI/ML edge inference frameworks.
- DSP and sampling theory.
- Reading schematics.
- PCB design.
Location: Boston MA. Flexible onsite two to three days. Generous relocation package.
