DUTIES:
- Provides application support including system/batch monitoring and processing handling user questions and queries investigating and solving system problems support with third party integrations providing on-call services to support systems.
- Performs business analysis to gather customer business requirements.
- Prepares and maintains functional and technical specification documents.
- Works as a member of the technical team to apply software or system upgrades.
- Performs unit and system testing when needed.
- Works with team leaders and other colleagues to assure compatibility and consistency among various system modules and applications.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices trends and applications.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
- Provides leadership to the development of new software applications updates and modification of existing applications as required by the customer.
- Build custom Salesforce applications using Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components and other Salesforce development tools to address unique business requirements.
- Design and implement automated processes using Salesforce features like Flows Process Builder and triggers to streamline business operations.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and data connectors to ensure data consistency across platforms.
- Create user-friendly interfaces using Lightning components and design principles to enhance user experience.
- Conduct thorough testing of developed applications to identify and resolve bugs ensuring quality and stability.
- Monitor and optimize application performance to maintain efficient data processing and system responsiveness.
- Document technical specifications code and design decisions for future maintenance and reference.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelors degree AND:
- 48 months experience in application and software development and/or custom solutions.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelors degree for a total of 96 months related experience.
Skills:
- Knowledge of software design and programming principles.
- Knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools.
- Ability to program in at least one programming language.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong initiative to solve problems.
Certifications: None.
