Job Posting Title: Production Technician QA Job Profile: Production Assembler Job Summary: The Production Technician - QA will be responsible for ensuring assembly products meet requirements using various tools and guidelines. The Production Technician QA will inspect and verify product quality ensuring it meets quality standards before reaching the customer. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform inspections and audits across various stagesincluding incoming parts assembly processes final products and OEM sales ordersto ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspection activities to support quality assurance and traceability. Identify and document product or process non-conformities recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence and support continuous improvement. Conduct audit-related investigations and develop initiatives to improve audit functions. Collaborate with the Production Manager and Technicians to identify root causes of issues analyze problems and develop effective corrective actions. Update and maintain documentation in alignment with ISO requirements and quality improvement initiatives. Communicate with cross-functional teams including Production Warehouse RMA Coordination Quality and Purchasing to support quality and operational goals. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and understand Mechanical & Electrical assembly drawings. Ability to use precision measuring and inspection tools (e.g. micrometers calipers gauges scales multimeters) to verify product specifications. Utilize SPC (Statistical Process Control) techniques to validate incoming parts as needed. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software(s). Education and Experience: Knowledge of quality standards industry best practices and product safety regulations. High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in Quality Assurance preferred but not required for role. Knowledge of quality control standards. Minimum of 1 year of quality inspection experience preferred. Understanding of the North American Transit Industry and Agencies is preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer/laptop. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time. Must be able to handle high utilization of hand and wrist dexterity.
