The HSE Specialist offers expert knowledge and skills to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture. This represents a key role in helping control occupational risk on the rig.

Partner with the best

In this role you will be ensuring the well-being of our workforce and compliance of HSE on-site. You will build relationships with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure requirements are met. You will provide solutions and help to develop your team and continuous improvement of our HSE.

As a Health and Safety Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Managing applying and ensuring adherence with Aramco and Baker Hughes HSE policies and procedures and assist the contracted services to comply with the same.

• Promoting with the management a safety culture within the workplace in accordance with the industry best practices

• Leading / participating effectively in the site various HSE meetings present safety data and statistics communicating HSE alerts and lessons learnt and discussing issues related to HSE with the crew.

• Performing verifying and following up with site inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external HSE standards.

• Monitoring the work environment and watching out for the safety of all workers to protect them from entering hazardous situations.

• Reporting all incidents accidents and near misses immediately and leading the investigation and analysis process. Compiling incidents reports and communicating the investigation results as .

• Conducting site HSE inductions for all crew and visitors

• Ensuring all crew are certified as per Aramco and Baker Hughes training matrixes and conducting refresher training as .

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a NEBOSH IGC certification

• Have 3 years experience in rig site

• Familiar with rig Aramco HSE requirements

• Have a good communication skills (Arabic & English)
