Forensic Clinician LCSW or LMFT

LCSWs and LMFTs are encouraged to consider an available full-time Mental Health Clinician position with Liberty Healthcare.

Liberty Healthcare operates a specialized forensic mental health program within the Robert Presley Detention Center a county jail operated by the Riverside County Sheriff.

This program provides high quality assessment and treatment services to adults who are justice involved experiencing mental illness and deemed incompetent to stand trial.

As a Forensic Clinician with Liberty Healthcares program your responsibilities will include:

• Performing psychosocial evaluations on newly admitted patients

• Providing cognitive-behavioral treatment and psychoeducation to individuals and groups

• Serving as a case lead to assigned patients

• Contributing to individualized treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team

• Proactively contacting family and collateral contacts when appropriate for the purposes of evaluation and treatment

This position requires you to work in-person and onsite at the Robert Presley Detention Facility in Riverside CA.

You have the option to work a traditional workweek with five 8-hour days or compressed workweek with four 10-hour days.

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role you can expect:

• Starting pay between $85000 and $95000 (depending on qualifications)

Full details on Libertys benefits plan are available at are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and have experience assessing and counseling adults who are experiencing mental illness.

Experience serving people who are justice-involved is helpful but not required.
