Are you looking for a great on-campus job where you can build your professional skills in a supportive fun and team-oriented environment The Human Resources office is seeking a Work-Study Office Assistant to help with a variety of administrative and customer service tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience grow your confidence in an office setting and support the important work of HR at LCC.
Position Details:
Part-time up to19 hours per week(schedule will be based on your availability and office needs)
What Youll Do:
Provide friendly professional customer service to faculty staff applicants and visitors
Answer multi-line phones triage calls and assist with questions from employees and applicants
Respond to inquiries from the HR email account
Assist with records management (personnel files filing archiving etc.)
Post jobs to advertising platforms and help manage recruitment materials
Create and format documents forms and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Help track and manage office supply inventory
Audit spreadsheets and perform accurate data entry inctcLink(HR Management System)
Prepare new hire packets make copies and assist with onboarding paperwork
Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing HR mail
Support special projects and other office tasks as needed
What Were Looking For:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Basic computer skills (Microsoft and Google products)
A positive attitude eagerness to learn and a team-first mindset
