Job Description
A graduate-level theological degree from a college university or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or appropriate theological training recognized by ones faith tradition. Minimum of four units of clinical pastoral education (CPE) programs. Provide documentation of current endorsement and/or ordination of good standing in accordance with the requirements of ones own faith tradition. One year hospital experience preferably with children.
The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment drug screen background investigation and compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.

Department Overview
Position Summary
The On-Call Chaplain will provide spiritual care during after hours weekends and holidays to children families and staff of Childrens MN. The On-Call Chaplain will communicate information about on-call cases and coordinate follow-up care with Staff Chaplains. The On-Call Chaplain will also coordinate spiritual care with community faith leaders and home spiritual resources as appropriate.
Specialized Chaplains (ex. imams shaman American Indian spiritual leader Buddhist etc.) will support the patient population they represent in addition to interfaith patient needs as requested.
