Job Summary
LK Jordan is currently seeking a Payroll Clerk in the Converse area. Schedule is Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm with occasional overtime.
Job Duties:
Maintains payroll information by collecting calculating and entering data.
Updates and processes certified and payroll records.
Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings taxes deductions leave disability and nontaxable wages.
Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Must have experience with reserving flights rental cars and hotels.
Must have experience with certified payroll and payroll taxes.
Familiarity with general accounting principles.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role.
Proficiency in payroll software and Excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
