The Department of Sociology College of Social Sciences (CSS) University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) in Honolulu Hawaii invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor (F-3). This is a 9-month full-time permanent tenure-track faculty appointment to begin August 1 2026 subject to position clearance and availability of funds.
We are seeking a candidate with a commitment to contribute to one or more of our departments other areas of specialization which are Race Ethnicity Gender and Class; Asia Pacific and Hawaii in Regional and Global Contexts; Crime Law and Social Control; and Nationalism Globalization and Sustainability.
