We are hiring a welder to join our team with a focus on orbital welding. Candidates with experience in TIG process piping or field welding are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for the orbital welding process making this an excellent opportunity for skilled welders to expand their capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform orbital welding on stainless steel carbon steel and other alloys.
Set up and operate orbital welding machines and related equipment.
Interpret and work from blueprints drawings and weld specifications.
Inspect welds to ensure accuracy strength and appearance.
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean organized workspace.
Collaborate with supervisors engineers and team members to complete projects.
Qualifications
Welding background (TIG process piping or field welding).
Orbital welding experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Physically able to perform welding work (standing bending lifting).
Preferred
Welding certifications (TIG or process piping).
Experience in food & beverage pharmaceutical aerospace or semiconductor industries.
Familiarity with AWS or ASME codes.
The estimated salary range for this position is $25 to $27 an hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location.
