Roles and Responsibilities
Anticipate recognize evaluate and help control workplace health and safety hazards.
Assist in injury illness and near miss tracking case management and root cause analysis.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of company EHS policies programs and procedures.
Support compliance with applicable local state and federal regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA).
Conduct regular safety inspections and assist in identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
Help maintain safety documentation training records and incident logs.
Assist with delivering EHS-related training and safety briefings to employees.
Track and manage safety supplies PPE inventory and signage.
Help coordinate waste management activities and environmental compliance tasks.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience/training in environmental health and/or safety).
At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing and/or warehousing setting.
Desired Characteristics
