Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Kolkata West Bengal. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional experience in accounting particularly in the retail sector. This role involves managing financial records preparing tax documents and providing insights that contribute to strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage tax preparation and ensure timely filings
- Oversee budget preparation and monitoring to support financial planning
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial data
- Assist with audits and respond to inquiries from authorities as needed
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes
- Provide financial advice and support to management and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or relevant field
- Proficiency in financial reporting and tax preparation
- Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and account reconciliation
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
