Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Type: Full-time 4-10hr shifts (7a-5p) on call weekends and holidays

Up to $20000 Sign-on Bonus

Department/Unit Summary

Cardiac catheterization /EP lab is a very busy place. We provide cardiac catheterization with stents and shockwave CSI Rota bladder Laser Impalla and balloon pump procedures TEE ablations and Cardioversions. We have same day discharge procedures that the patients will recover for 4 hours and if they meet discharge criteria may go home. Our schedule is published one month at a time. Staff for the cardiac catheterization lab work 4 (10-hour) shifts on call time daily for weekends or holidays also. On call is 2-3 days per week and every 3rd weekend this may vary depending on vacations etc. Conemaugh Hospital has chest pain accreditation status; therefore we have STEMI call 24/7 7 days per week. Staff for EP work 5 (8-hour) shifts no on call time no weekends or holidays. We prefer 2 years experience with ER ICU PCU/telemetry

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire

Critical Care Course or completed within 6 months

CPR certification and ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months

One year nursing experience

Arrhythmia course and critical care course or obtained within one year

One year nursing experience in cath lab preferred

RCIS Certification preferred
