Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Educator (Contract 3 Months)
Location: New York City NY
Duration: 3 Months (Contract)
Schedule:MondayFriday (9 AM to 5 PM)
Important Note: This will be 50% in Office and 50% out in field Role.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Nurse Educator to join our healthcare team in New York City on a short-term 3-month contract. We are looking for someone with bothMaternal & Adult Care Experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design deliver and evaluate orientation and training programs for nursing staff.
Provide clinical education mentorship and skills training to nurses and allied healthcare professionals.
Assess learning needs and develop tailored education plans.
Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Facilitate continuing education workshops and competency assessments.
Serve as a role model and resource for clinical staff.
Qualifications
Current unrestricted RN license in New York State.
BSN required; MSN preferred.
Minimum 35 years of clinical nursing experience (hospital/acute care strongly preferred).
Previous experience in nursing education staff development or clinical instruction.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and evidence-based nursing practice.
Excellent communication leadership and presentation skills.
