What does a Senior Market Business Analyst do at Hogarth

The Senior Market Business Analyst serves as a strategic partner to Fords Brand and Product Marketing leaders overseeing the development accuracy and governance of vehicle Order Guides and Vehicle Retail Window Labels. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the Ford product information accurate. The position requires deep product knowledge the ability to navigate Fords systems and product documents as well as collaboration with the Hogarth Product Information team. The role synthesizes complex and varied inputs into authoritative product documents that guide and validate the Ford dealer and consumer marketing efforts.

  • Strategic Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of vehicle features and functionality with the ability to translate complex vehicle details and coding into market-ready nomenclature that ensures accuracy consistency and alignment with end-user and brand needs.
  • Analytical and Decision Making Skills: Ability to assess feature availability identifying misalignments resolving discrepancies and making recommendations that impact product strategy and go-to-market execution.
  • Influence & Communication: Proven ability to influence client stakeholders align cross-functional teams and provide thought leadership on product information standards.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Skilled at mentoring peers fostering alignment across diverse teams and championing best to use well-developed social skills to establish and maintain positive professional working relationships within a diverse group of people
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drives enhancements to processes systems and tools that improve accuracy efficiency and strategic impact.
  • Integrity: Must be honest reliable and trustworthy and have a positive helpful attitude. Independent working skills are a must

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation governance and continuous improvement of vehicle Order Guides and Vehicle Retail Window Labels ensuring alignment with Engineering directives and marketing strategy intent
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing Engineering and agency partners to resolve complex product information challenges and ensure accuracy in the order guide that influences all client and consumer facing materials
  • Partner with Ford Brand and Product Marketing leaders to shape cross-vehicle line nomenclature that drives consistency across all markets and communications.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in troubleshooting high-visibility client and dealer issues as it relates to vehicle information and configurations
  • Maintain a library of critical facts including timing charts for important milestones in vehicle launches and other releases
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities proposing recommendations and leading initiatives that enhance accuracy efficiency and cross-functional alignment
  • Create reports that monitor sales order banks inventory option take rates and incentives on an as needed basis
  • Other duties as assigned including but not limited to dealer programs activations and other on-site activities

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or work experience equivalent
  • 7-10 years of experience in production information marketing or automotive industry roles with direct exposure to product marketing and cross-functional leadership
  • Experience in agency or OEM environments preferred
  • Ability to distinguish between critical details and unimportant facts
  • Effective communicator with ability to concisely identify and convey pertinent information
  • Ability to manage highly detailed and dynamic projects under tight deadlines
  • Proficient with computers and willing to learn new applications as they become relevant to position
  • Innate sense of curiosity and desire for continuous learning
  • Previous agency engineering or automotive experience and knowledge of Ford systems is a plus
  • Able to work independently in an offsite capacity
