Location

This role is based in London Victoria and offers hybrid working with majority of the working week in the office. We recommend discussing arrangements with the hiring manager.

The Team:

The role:

  • As Product Manager you are responsible for a set of complex and company strategic products within a data-led portfolio. You will drive product strategy roadmap and execution and have the ability to take a business idea from inception to delivery delivering significant business value in the process.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Define and own the product vision strategy and roadmap (product mix new products retirement of old products) and work with others to align strategic priorities dependencies and roadmap across the product portfolio ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs

  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable backlogs user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Lead cross-functional Agile teams acting as the voice of the customer and business throughout the product lifecycle

  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on value effort and impact using data to inform decisions

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing sales operations and technology to ensure shared understanding and alignment

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement experimentation and learning

  • Measure and communicate product success using KPIs OKRs and other performance metrics

  • Ensure delivery excellence by working closely with delivery managers developers and QA to remove blockers and maintain momentum

  • Accountable for the management and optimisation of strategic products across the company

  • Quickly build market knowledge and assess new product opportunities (gathering ideas research carrying out analysis refining and prioritising new requirements)

  • Plan and co-ordinate significant product efforts that have dependencies on multiple product and engineering teams

  • Steer sprint/release planning sessions by working with your engineering counterparts to plan sprints/ releases that deliver maximum business value with the least effort

  • Identify and drive improvements to the way in which product performance and service levels are measured to ensure product quality reliability and security

  • Manage the supplier strategy for your product domain identifying third party suppliers and business partners and managing existing relationships

  • Lead discovery work around a minimum viable product (MVP) for any new product/feature and engineering teams to prototype and validate a MVP

  • Help the team in breaking down a complex piece of work/epic into smaller deliverable chunks of value that can be delivered faster

  • Provide leadership and direction to cross functional team(s) on short-term tasks/near-term priorities

  • Accountable for the performance/adoption of your product and work towards increasing it

  • Collaborate in the building and delivery of the value case behind each project

Essential Criteria

  • Have proven success in working on unstructured problems defining hypothesis creating MVPs running experiments and analysing results to drive data-driven decisions

  • Taken multiple ideas (at least 1 new product/idea) from conception to go-live through standard software product development lifecycle and got measurable success across defined KPIs

  • Knowledge and experience of product management best practice and methodologies with strong technical acumen

  • Driven experiments against defined hypotheses created MVPs towards robust data-driven decisions on product improvements and their influence on product performance indicators

  • Shown significant improvement in your product KPIs and helped a team set KPIs for new/ other products
