As Sourcing Supplier Quality Engineer you will drive quality for assigned suppliers including quality plan implementation. You will support to select suppliers through qualification processes own supplier results drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards own supplier audits ensure compliance and drive improvement plans where needed.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Lead supplier qualifications action plans audits performance monitoring and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence
Track metrics & works quality improvement plans to address problem areas
Review and approve quality plans investigate quality escapes to provide root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective actions are taken
Mentor suppliers in the application of quality tools & requirements Ensure compliance and drive improvement plans where needed
Review documentation and witness supplier practices to determine if sound manufacturing and inspection principles are in place

Qualifications/Requirements

Engineering Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university or college
Previousexperience in Quality Manufacturing Shop Operations Materials or Sourcing
Fluent in English
Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required

Desired Characteristics

Shop Floor Quality or Manufacturing experience
Basic understanding of Quality Management System (policies procedures and support tools / systems)
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Ability to analyze and resolve problems
Highly collaborative team-oriented individual
Lean Six Sigma trained
Strong oral and written communication skills
