Job Description
Surgery Scheduler Job Description:
âLocation: Grand Valley Spine and Pain
âSchedule: Monday - Friday 0800-1700
â Position: Open until September 30th 2025 or until filled
Responsibilities:
Responsible for scheduling all surgical cases and coordinating surgery cases with practice schedule. Responsible for following through to ensure all documentation/information has been secured prior to surgery.
- Works in conjunction with billing department on insurance information coding and billing. Verify that accurate information has been transmitted
- Responsible to assist with patient financing including assisting with locating resources to help with the financial obligation
Responsible for putting together surgical packets for patients and help coordinate preâop and postâop care.
Responsible to be back-up for the front desk and assist in making appointments answering phones and assisting with new patient paperwork.
Responsible for providing patient care in accordance with the hospital mission goals rules and policy and procedures guidelines.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Compensation:
- Hiring pay range is: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses relocation expenses merit increases market adjustments
