Job Summary: | Join the Facilities Management Department at the University of Colorado Denver as a Pipe/Mechanical Trades I (Shift) employee. This is a full-time state-classified position that plays a vital role in supporting the Universitys 24/7 operations. In this position you will perform routine and corrective maintenance on HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical and utility systems as well as interior finishes and appliances. You will coordinate work with journey-level technicians and contractors log all work activities in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance System) and monitor building operations through the BAS (Building Automation System).This role also requires responding to service calls addressing maintenance issues as they arise and ensuring a safe and functional campus environment. The position is subject to mandatory call-back for snow removal services and may perform other related duties as assigned. This is an evening second-shift position. Regular hours are Monday through Friday 1:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Employees in this role are responsible for performing both corrective and preventive maintenance during their shift and may be required to respond to after-hours or emergency call-backs as needed. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range for this position has been established as $4238 - $4916 per month) This position may be eligible for a one time non-base building sign-on bonus up to $2000.
