Job Description

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

The Public Safety Department is seeking a student to assist with the care and upkeep of department vehicles to ensure they remain in safe and reliable condition.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with routine vehicle inspections (checking fluid levels tire pressure lights etc.).

  • Coordinating and transporting vehicles for scheduled maintenance and repairs.

  • Maintaining accurate vehicle logs and service records.

  • Keeping vehicles clean organized and ready for use.

  • Running errands and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Applicants must possess a valid drivers license and be eligible to become a registered OWU driver.

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle care and maintenance is preferred but not required (training provided).

  • Must demonstrate reliability attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

NOTE:Employment sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
