Position OverviewThe Pantry Attendant maintains clean and well-stocked pantry areas while providing beverage services for meetings. This role ensures that refreshment areas are properly maintained supplies are available and a high standard of cleanliness is consistently delivered throughout pantry and meeting and ExperienceSecondary educationMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in hospitality or food serviceSkills and KnowledgeGood interpersonal and communication skillsGood command of CantoneseBasic spoken English and PutonghuaKnowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practicesPersonal AttributesDetail-oriented with focus on cleanlinessService-oriented mindsetReliable and consistent work ethicAbility to work independentlyKey ResponsibilitiesPantry and Meeting Room MaintenanceMaintain cleanliness and tidiness of pantry areasClean and organize meeting rooms after useEnsure all cups glasses and utensils are properly washed and sanitizedWipe down countertops tables and equipment regularlyDispose of waste and maintain clean waste receptaclesKeep pantry equipment and appliances clean and presentableInventory ManagementMonitor usage of pantry suppliesReplenish items such as coffee tea creamer sugar and snacksConduct regular stock taking of pantry itemsReport when supplies are running lowOrganize storage areas for pantry suppliesRefreshment ServicesPrepare and support tea and coffee services during meetingsSet up refreshment stations for meetings and eventsEnsure drinking water is available in meeting areasMaintain beverage equipment in good working orderFollow proper serving standards and protocolsEquipment MonitoringReport any malfunctioning equipment or items in areas of operationIdentify maintenance needs for pantry appliancesEnsure equipment is used properly and safelyAlert supervisors to any safety concerns in pantry areasAdditional DutiesAssist with special events or functions as neededHandle other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the AuthoritySupport workplace services team during busy periodsMaintain proper hygiene standards in food preparation areasWorking ConditionsOn-site position requiring movement between pantry areas and meeting roomsPhysical work including standing bending and lifting light itemsRegular business hours with potential for occasional event supportExposure to cleaning supplies and hot beveragesReporting StructureReports to: Workplace Officer/Workplace CoordinatorLocation:
