Job Title Minute Taker
We are looking for an enthusiastic highly motivated Minute Taker to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Childrens Directorate.
This is a temporary full-time position working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday to cover the maternity leave of the current postholder. The role will continue until 31 March 2026 or until the postholder returns whichever is the sooner. The post is based within Childrens Social Care at Ripon Street Preston PR1 7LY and provides support to operational staff managers and Independent Reviewing Offices through minute-taking for a variety of meetings.
We are currently working a combination of home and office working therefore you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection. Due to the nature of this rolethe expectation will be that you may be expected to work from a variety of locations.

Knowledge and Experience Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.
Great Communication Youll be engaging and providing advice to Managers Social Workers families members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.
