About the Role
The Financial Analyst Pricing is an integral part of Lathams Financial Analysis role will be responsible for driving success towards the firms goals and objectives by applying financial analytical and business support while preparing recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses and reports related to client statistics and firm financial metrics.This role will be located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Performing profitability scenario analyses to support pricing decisions for firm management
- Collaborating on new engagement opportunities by creating competitive and innovative fee proposals that meet strategic and financial goals
- Maintaining the litigation investment database by inputting key approval information creating analyses and designing reports/presentations to display pricing trends
- Making recommendations and working with management to develop procedures processes and workflows to ensure maximum efficiency in the litigation investment portfolio
- Developing recurring reports related to client fee monitoring
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive confidential privileged financial and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

- Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
- Possess the ability to work independently to research analyze and develop financial information
And have:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent in finance accounting business administration economics or a related field
- A minimum of one (1) year of related analytical experience in finance or accounting
- Experience responding to ad-hoc requests performing analyses and producing reports preferably
