Full-Stack Developer (.NET, ReactNextJS, AWS, Microservices, DevOps Expert)

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. This role involves leading complex engineering initiatives providing technical guidance and developing innovative solutions that support our business objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to strategic program development mentor team members and foster best practices across projects ensuring delivery of high-quality scalable and sustainable software solutions.

Software Requirements

Required Skills:

• Proficiency Core Framework (minimum 10 years of industry experience)
• Hands-on experience with Frontend technologies: NextJS React JavaScript (including ES6)
• Experience with C# and object-oriented programming design patterns and architecture principles
• Version control with Git (GitHub GitLab or Bitbucket)
• CI/CD tools: TeamCity GitHub Actions or similar build automation tools
• Deployment tooling: Octopus Deploy Docker Kubernetes
• Relational databases: MSSQL Oracle (preferably both)
• Monitoring and performance tools: Splunk AppDynamics or equivalent
• Cloud computing platforms: AWS (ideal) Azure or GCP

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Knowledge of GraphQL Redux or similar front-end libraries
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation)
• Additional cloud providers or hybrid cloud experience

Overall Responsibilities

• Design develop and implement robust full-stack web applications aligned with business needs.
• Oversee and guide technical strategy for complex development initiatives including proof of concept projects.
• Lead collaborative efforts across squads ensuring adherence to best practices and technical standards.
• Mentor and up-skill engineering teams to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
• Develop and promote strategic engineering practices including code quality testing and deployment automation.
• Perform code reviews troubleshoot issues and optimize performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define requirements project timelines and deliverables.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and implement them where feasible to enhance project outcomes.

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

• Required: C# (.NET Core/.NET Framework) JavaScript (ES6) with good understanding of OOP and design patterns
• Preferred: TypeScript

Databases & Data Management:

• Required: MSSQL Oracle (experience in schema design query optimization)

Cloud Technologies:

• Required: AWS (preferred) with knowledge of cloud service deployment and management
• Preferred: Azure GCP

Frameworks and Libraries:

• Required: .NET MVC NextJS React REST API development Microservices architecture
• Preferred: Redux GraphQL

Development Tools & Methodologies:

• Version control: Git (GitHub Bitbucket GitLab)
• CI/CD: TeamCity GitHub Actions Jenkins or similar
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker Kubernetes

• Implement authentication authorization and secure coding practices as part of development processes.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years experience in full-stack software development
• Proven experience leading complex software engineering projects or programs
• Demonstrable knowledge of enterprise application development ideally within financial services telecommunications or related sectors
• Experience working in Agile teams and methodologies (Scrum Kanban)
• Alternative pathways: Extensive full-stack experience with a focus on and React/NextJS architectures

Day-to-Day Activities

• Developing testing and deploying full-stack applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams during sprint planning daily stand-ups and reviews
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback
• Participating in architecture design discussions and technical decision-making
• Leading proof of concept initiatives to evaluate new technologies or approaches
• Monitoring application performance and troubleshooting issues post-deployment
• Documenting technical specifications best practices and project progress
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering team knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field; equivalent practical experience accepted
• Relevant certifications are advantageous (e.g. Microsoft Certified AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Continuous learning through workshops webinars or industry conferences is encouraged
