Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444 per week (PAYE)

A secondary school in Richmond is seeking an Art & Design Academic Mentor to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for graduates with creative skills who are interested in teaching design or further study in the arts. You will help pupils develop drawing painting and digital design skills as well as prepare for coursework and portfolio assessments.
As an Art & Design Academic Mentor you will provide one-to-one support run small group workshops and assist teachers in delivering practical and theory-based lessons. You will encourage pupils creativity technical skills and confidence in presenting their work.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in Art & Design lessons and study sessions
- Running workshops on practical techniques design and portfolio preparation
- Providing one-to-one academic support
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and marking
Were looking for:
- A UK undergraduate degree in Art Design or a related subject (2:1 or above)
- Strong creative and communication skills
- Passion for art design and education
- Commitment to the full academic year
