DescriptionGeneral Summary of Duties: Oversees food and beverage operations on their shift in all food outlets.
Typical Physical/Mental Demands: Ability to walk and/or sit one hundred (100%) percent of shift; requires bending and/or reaching from floor level to approximately six (6) feet in height; ability to lift and carry supplies up to fifty (50) pounds; ability to push and pull one hundred (100) pounds; requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters figures and symbols; work accurately with intermediate math; requires basic office skills (calculator telephone and computer); ability to see and hear; ability to communicate directly telephonically and electronically with guests management and staff in English; understands and complies with policies and procedures job description and other instructions.
Typical Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment; as well as in all food and beverage outlets on property; must be tolerant of varying conditions of noise level temperature illumination food smells and air quality.
Example of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
- Understand and adhere to all Grand Victoria Casino and Food and Beverage Department standards policies and procedures.
- Obtain a basic understanding of the Internal Control System (ICS) and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).
- Ability to comply with and maintain Grand Victoria Casinos Family Style Service Standards.
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction is consistently being maintained.
- Assist in hiring of staff as needed.
- Administer disciplinary action to staff as needed.
- Develop work schedule(s) for all food & beverage outlets.
- Expedites and resolves all guest complaints.
- Obtain and exercise a working knowledge of all fountain equipment.
- Perform all other tasks that may be assigned in the future.
Performance Requirements (knowledge skills and abilities): Ability to read write and speak in English; working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; possess effective listening skills; ability to perform intermediate math; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; possess working knowledge and skills of position under supervision; skill in developing and maintaining guest relations; establishes and maintains an effective working relationship with Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) management staff and co-workers; team oriented; enjoys working with and assisting people; ability to understand questions and instructions from supervisors and co-workers; ability to work any shift.
Qualifications: Prior managerial experience with Food and Beverage industry preferred. Prior experience with Restaurant job positions.
Salary Range: $55000 - $66000 annually (Depending on Experience)
