Join Hitachi Energys innovative R&D team as a Software Developer where your work will power the future of energy distribution! Based in either Raleigh NC or Jefferson City MO youll collaborate with global experts to develop cutting-edge software for the distribution transformer business. This is your chance to shape technology that impacts communities worldwide all while growing your skills in a supportive forward-thinking environment.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
This role requires an on-site presence and includes up to 10% global travel based on project needsgiving you the opportunity to connect with international teams and see your work in action.
How Youll Make an Impact
Lead and support the development of electrical design software for our Jefferson City factory.
Upgrade and modernize codebases to the Core framework.
Build and enhance Azure-based applications.
Design and update architecture for electrical design tools.
Drive innovation through proof-of-concept projects and new technologies.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
Implement new features resolve bugs and refactor code for quality.
Collaborate in an Agile multinational team and document new developments.
Your Background
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering computer science or a related field.
At least 2 years of hands-on software development experience.
Proficiency Framework ( or C#); .Net Core experience preferred.
Experience with version control (Git) and SQL Server (MS SQL).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure development tools.
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design and development with a focus on Dry-Type and Liquid-Filled transformers in the power industry.
