Job Summary
You should possess a comprehensive understanding of wireless technologies and have direct practical experience demonstrating domain expertise in one of the wireless connectivity technologies such as Wi-Fi Bluetooth (classic BT/BLE) Thread/Matter. Youll have a deep theoretical knowledge of wireless protocols hands-on experience in consistently validating one of these wireless technologies and good tooling and automation expertise in wireless performance evaluation.
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering field
- Proven experience as a Software Test and Automation Engineer specializing in wireless technologies including Wi-Fi Bluetooth Thread and other wireless protocols
- 3 years of proven experience evaluating wireless performance in WiFi or Bluetooth.
- 3 years of proven programming experience in scripting languages such as PERL Python Ruby JavaScript C# and others
- Knowledge of at least 1 existing wireless communication protocols: Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) or Bluetooth/BLE 802.15.4/Thread/Matter
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Masters/PhD in an Engineering field preferred
- Strong debugging experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of multiple existing wireless communication protocols: Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) or Bluetooth/BLE 802.15.4/Thread/Matter
- Proficiency in network/RF tools such as iPerf Wireshark Ellisys Network and Spectrum Analyzers attenuators is beneficial
- Experience working with standards bodies in the wireless domain including IEEE Wi-Fi Alliance Bluetooth SIG Thread Group is beneficial
