How youll contribute

As a registered nurse you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department through the nursing process of interview assessment planning implementation evaluation and triage. Youll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a Associates Degree from an accredited nursing school.

Additional requirements include:

  • BLS ACLS PALS HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
  • TNCC required within one year of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred

Department Summary

The Emergency Department (ED) at Canyon Vista Medical Center embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication essential for the delivery of patient care. This 22-bed unit operates within a trauma III hospital setting ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support.
