Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Higginsville MO 64037
Schedule: SundayTuesday (rotating Saturday) & WednesdayFriday (rotating Saturday) 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (3x12)
Compensation: Up to $1260 weekly Up to $35/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide skilled nursing care support daily operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in a long-term care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Direct daily functions of nursing assistants in accordance with facility guidelines and healthcare regulations.
Accurately complete and maintain resident records including admissions transfers and discharges.
Collaborate with physicians regarding treatment plans progress notes and orders.
Receive and transcribe physician orders to resident charts medication cards and treatment/care plans.
Administer prescribed medications and verify resident identity prior to treatment.
Notify nursing staff of new admissions room assignments and care needs.
Participate in facility inspections and surveys by government agencies.
Review resident charts for treatments medications and dietary requirements.
Provide consultation with physicians regarding patient care treatment and rehabilitation.
Ensure thorough charting and accurate documentation of patient care activities.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
Experience with cervical collar usage.
Flexible and adaptable to schedule changes.
Education & Licensure
High School Diploma or GED.
Active LPN license in the state of Missouri.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
