We are looking for a strategic and technically adept leader to drive complex investigations and remediation projects delivering high-quality client-focused solutions. This role combines technical leadership with strategic business development including proposal and contract management and driving internal project success. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in hydrogeologic analysis regulatory compliance and advanced site characterization along with a proven ability to mentor high-performing teams. A commitment to safety innovation and client satisfaction is essential to thrive in this impactful role.

Responsibilities

  • Insights and Reporting: Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports including preparing regulatory work plans and reports for investigation remediation and closure; working knowledge of methods and procedures for site characterization hydrogeologic analysis and remediation of contaminants in soil soil vapor indoor air; and groundwater understanding of multimedia remedial technologies for addressing a variety of contaminants.
  • Health Safety and Environment: Follow the organizations health safety and environment (HSE) policies procedures and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them escalating serious issues as appropriate.
  • Technical Project Management: Deliver medium-large scale projects while maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring projects are delivered safely and within scope schedule and budget.
  • Solutions Analysis: Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
  • Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations: Contribute to projects by providing complex analysis and interpretation of geological/geophysical field data.
  • Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education attending conferences and reading specialist media.
  • Client & Customer Management (External): Manage important client relationships with guidance from colleagues or oversee relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.
  • Community of Practice Management: Participate actively in a community of practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting to build own expertise.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Able to travel to project sites for short durations (including overnight travel) throughout the region.
  • Professional Designation/License preferred
  • OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification

Education

  • Bachelors and/or advanced degree in applied science (Geology Earth Science Hydrogeology)

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation (drilling techniques contaminate fate and transport site characterization protocols remediation techniques)
  • Managing project teams project management mentoring staff

Salary: $110000.00 - $165000.00 varies based on location and experience
