Building Service Worker (Custodian) Thoreau Elementary SchoolThoreau Elementary School is looking for a dedicated Building Service Worker to join our team! At Thoreau we value community respect effort safety and academic excellenceand our Building Service Workers play a vital role in creating a clean safe and welcoming environment where students and staff can the Role:This is a second-shift 12-month position at Thoreau Elementary School. Our Building Service Workers are essential members of our school community ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest include:Cleaning and maintaining all aspects of the school building to create a safe and positive environment for students and staffProper operation and maintenance of custodial equipmentSnow removal Supporting school events and activities by keeping our spaces ready for learning and community gatheringsWhat Were Looking For:A team player who enjoys being part of a school community and takes pride in their workSomeone who interacts positively with students staff parents and community membersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skillsHigh school diploma (or equivalent) requiredPosition Details:Second shift 40 hours per week 12-month positionSalary: $23.92$29.69 per hour (based on experience) plus $1.50 shift differentialAt Thoreau Elementary we believe every role contributes to the success and joy of our school community.
