1st Grade Bilingual Teacher @ Chambers Elementary
(Internal employees: Set to your account to internal before applying at Purpose: To assist students in becoming proficient in English and Spanish by planning and delivering sheltered lessons that access the four domains of language (ELPS) and academic content (TEKS) and skills that will contribute to their development as contributing bilingual and biliterate citizens within a diverse and multicultural society. Education/Certification: Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience: Other Supervisory Responsibilities None Evaluation Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation of Teachers and the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS). Probationary contract 187 days plus 4 days of Alief U professional development for a teacher new to the district 2025-2026 Salary Schedule Minimum teacher salary is $66500 (base $64100 $2400 Teacher Retention Allotment (TRA) Stipend) Salary is based on 187 days.
