Travel Rate: $2944 per week
Local Rate: $2484 per week

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical Unit (Med/Surg)for an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient health status in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting.
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy with proficiency.
Provide conscious sedation care and support during procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document assessments interventions and patient responses accurately and timely.
Adhere to hospital policies infection control standards and professional nursing practices.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) or higher from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA).
- Primary Source Verification (PSV) required via New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
