Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the safe and effective running of the pharmacy and healthcare business while staying visible and accessible to patients and your team.
  • Taking ownership of commercial and clinical performance with a focus on raising standards and delivering strong patient outcomes.
  • Delivering NHS locally commissioned and private services and embracing the use of technology to enhance the patient experience.
  • Consistently monitoring and evaluating pharmacy standards and safety to ensure patients customers and team members are always protected.
  • Working in partnership with the Store Manager to develop the capability confidence and cohesion of the healthcare team.
  • Inspiring and coaching colleagues to grow in their roles building a team culture based on performance development and shared ambition.

What youll need to have
  • Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC PSNI or PSI)
  • A growth mindset - youre someone who is always looking to improve learn and lead change
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to build trusted relationships with patients your team and local healthcare professionals
  • Experience in driving pharmacy performance and leading with a high standard of patient care
  • A desire to deliver and champion essential advanced and private pharmacy services
  • The confidence to own results set a clear vision and bring others along on the journey

Need To Know
We are looking for a driven and passionate Pharmacist to join us in our Ferndown store BH22 9AL.

You will be joining an amazing team made who combined has over 50 years experience working for Boots. The store is quite a well organised store and is looked after by a very experienced Store Manager. They do approx. 1800 items per week. The provide services such as: Pharmacy First Contraception service Seasonal flu NMS and Hypertension.

Regarding the location the store is located within a Sainburys hence having a busy services schedule. It is based 30 minutes from Southampton and 20 minutes from Bournemouth city center making it close-by to main cities in the South.
