The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in El Segundo California.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with DC&N customer representatives contract administration purchasing engineering quality assurance traffic warehousing suppliers and customers to support DC&N Program Operations
- Verifies released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system
- Releases and maintains orders; documents and resolves order delinquencies; reports schedule adherence issues
- Applies developed solutions to inventory plans
- Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories
- Initiates coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
- Ensures on-time delivery; optimizes inventory levels; creates schedules for products and services
- Coordinates & supports process improvements
- Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies contractual requirements and governmental regulations
- Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
- Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain
- Creates schedules for products and services
- Works under general supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 1 year of experience in a position where priorities changed frequently & customer service wascritical to the teams success
- More than 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
- More than 1 year of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources as well as interpreting data &presenting analysis/recommendations to management
- More than 1 year of experience in Materials Management Analysis or Supply Chain Management Analysis
- Experience using the ePARTS requirement system
- Experience using Maintenance Management & Inventory Control System (MMICS) or Compass Contract and/or PTA systems
- Experience with the GOLD system
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
