Job Title: Associate Account Executive Pharmacy Automation Systems
Territory: OH MI IN KY TN
Summary:
A leading medical technology company is seeking an Associate Account Executive to support the growth of its pharmacy automation solutions portfolio. This individual will drive both new business development and expansion within existing accounts across a multi-state region. This is a high-impact field-based role requiring strong consultative selling skills and the ability to manage a long sales cycle with complex stakeholders including pharmacy leaders IT professionals and clinical operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and expand relationships with healthcare facilities by aligning product solutions with key customer initiatives.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and manage opportunities independently from identification through close.
Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to support pricing proposals and implementation planning.
Lead facility-wide expansion activities and support alternate care site opportunities within the assigned region.
Engage in long-term relationship building with decision-makers and influencers.
Utilize CRM and analytics tools to manage forecasting lead generation and opportunity tracking.
Coordinate with national account teams on cross-functional customer initiatives.
Sales Process Focus:
Understand customer environments and develop tailored solutions that address clinical operational and financial priorities.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of the healthcare industry reimbursement landscape and competitive market dynamics.
Deliver high-impact presentations and respond to customer objections with confidence and clarity.
Adhere to a structured sales process and stay up to date on all tools and resources that enhance sales effectiveness.
Organizational Excellence:
Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time including call planning reporting CRM updates and territory management.
Actively engage in product and industry training to remain current on evolving trends.
Maintain a professional and well-organized presence in all customer and company engagements including the upkeep of company-provided equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree required.
1 3 years of successful B2B or medical equipment sales preferred.
Familiarity with pharmacy healthcare IT or clinical automation as call points is a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage a complex multi-touch sales cycle.
Proven experience with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.
Able to travel up to 50% including overnight as needed.
Must have a valid driver s license and meet background requirements for customer site access.
Workplace Requirements:
This position is field-based with expectations for regular in-person engagement across the assigned -office or hybrid requirements may apply depending on business needs. Compliance with client site access policies including vaccination or testing protocols may be required.
