Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Schedule:
- Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift
- Days: Monday Friday
- Hours: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals performing nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring high-quality imaging services in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as required.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and report findings to the radiologist or referring physician.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow all radiation safety policies and procedures.
- Provide care and support to patients throughout the imaging process ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and other healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care.
Required Certifications/Licensure:
- ARRT-N (Nuclear Medicine Tech): Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine
AND/OR - CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist): Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
