Job Summary

Position : Postgres DBA

Location : Hybrid ( Sunnyvale CA Austin TX )

CLIENT : TCS/Apple

Interview - Virtual

Visa : USC/H1B

Note This is completely onsite position from Day One If Ex TCS (Contract ) then share the BA ID also

Relocation is okay

Role Description:

Candidate must be proficient in Postgres DBA.

5 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA in production environments

Strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture and internals

Proficiency in SQL PL/pgSQL and performance tuning techniques

Experience with PostgreSQL replication failover and clustering

Familiarity with tools such as pgAdmin psql Patroni pgBouncer

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS RDS for PostgreSQL GCP Cloud SQL or Azure Database for PostgreSQL)

Strong Linux/Unix skills (shell scripting crontab system monitoring)

Experience working in CI/CD environments with version-controlled database changes

Solid understanding of data security compliance and access control policies
