Position Summary

We are seeking an Entry to Mid-Level Geologist to join our Pittsburgh office. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong desire to learn and develop a career in environmental consulting. The position involves both fieldwork and office-based project support contributing to a variety of environmental assessment investigation and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct field investigations and assist with environmental remediation projects.
Support emergency response efforts for environmental spills and releases.
Collect and analyze soil water and other environmental samples using standard field equipment.
Assist with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and geologic evaluations.
Prepare technical reports documenting field data sampling results and regulatory compliance.
Manage and analyze environmental data to support project decision-making.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory programs including PADEP Act 2.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Geology or related scientific field.
1 3 years of environmental or geologic field experience.
Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification is a plus.
Proficiency in general fieldwork and environmental sampling equipment.
Strong technical writing computer and communication skills.
Self-motivated detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Knowledge / Skills

Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments
Geologic evaluations and field investigations
Soil and groundwater sampling
Knowledge of PADEP regulatory programs
